Vuori is an under-the-radar apparel brand that deserves much more recognition. Of course, we also appreciate the company is slowly growing based on the quality of their product and brand reputation, rather than growing based on splashy advertising and design.

This hits the nail on the head in many ways, but even “premium performance apparel” leaves room for interpretation, so here’s how we would describe Vuori. Vuori makes clothing that is of noticeably higher quality than other clothes in your wardrobe, similar to what you might expect from a brand like Lululemon. As a brand, Vuori differentiates itself by creating exceedingly comfortable performance clothing and by featuring understated west coast designs.
Vuori clothing is designed for the consumer that appreciates premium performance but doesn’t feel the need to advertise to the world that they are wearing premium performance apparel. That’s the reason Vuori is a staple in my closet.
Making decisions as an eco-friendly and sustainable apparel brand is tough, but Vuori is committed to using 80% sustainable materials in just a few short years. They are already close to that goal, using high-quality materials such REPREVE (polyester derived from plastic bottles) and ECONYL (nylon derived from fishing nets). They also used certified organic cotton.
Plus, Vuori already offsets all of their carbon emissions through a partnership with a group called Climate Neutral. They are also working on getting rid of 80% of plastics from their shipping process.
In short, Vuori is trying to do right by you and the planet and taking concrete actions toward a more sustainable future. They’re an emerging brand making a difference in the world.
Quality means different things to different people, but I can say anecdotally that Vuori’s clothing is some of the most well-made clothing in my closet. The materials perform well, are comfortable to wear, and are cut in ways that compliment your moving body rather than restrain it.
Beyond anecdotes, Vuori requires that all of the suppliers they work with follow the Vuori Code of Conduct. These standards address the fair treatment of workers, safe working environments, and earth-friendly practices. Inferior-quality brands brush these topics under the rug.

Vuori’s clothing costs more than the clothing you would pick up at your local sports good store, but in our minds, it’s a justified price worth paying. After all, I spent a good amount of my own hard-earned money on Vuori for a few simple reasons. All of Vuori’s clothing is designed to wear comfortably in understated California styles and is designed to perform better than any other casual athletic apparel in your closet.
Still, Vuori’s pricing falls in line with what you would expect from Lululemon, Rhone, Prana, and similar competitors. In some cases, Vuori might come in a little lower. While reasonable, Vuori is positioned in a premium performance category, so some might find the brand a little pricey.
That said, when I think about spending my own money, I think in terms of value. Will the product I am buying perform well, wear comfortably, and last a long time? Vuori checks all of these boxes, so in our estimation, Vuori is priced at a great value. I would much rather spend a few extra dollars on something I love and that checks all of my quality boxes than spend less money on a product I am dissatisfied with and that will soon need to be replaced.

Vuori sells joggers in a few varieties, and honestly, it’s hard to go wrong. One of our absolute favorite pieces of clothing is the Vuori Ripstop Traveler Jogger. These pants are incredibly versatile, ready for any adventure, and look good in nearly any setting. The relaxed fit offers wider-fitting pants down the leg, making them more comfortable and easier to move in. Still, the jogger’s bottom prevents them from feeling baggy, particularly around your shoes.
The Dura Terra ripstop fabric is made from organic cotton with a Teflon coating. Yeah, you read that right. The Teflon coating makes the pants highly durable and also stain resistant. These are a go-to set of pants; you will find yourself wanting in every color.
A good pair of leggings are worth more than their weight in gold, and Vuori may have designed the perfect pair of leggings. They are super soft and stretchy in all of the right places and effortlessly flattering. We like the Vuori Rib Studio Legging, which features a thick waistband that moves as you move while staying in place. Below the waistband, the rest of the leggings are buttery soft.
Sure, you will wear them for yoga and perhaps on the Peloton, but we are pretty confident these will become your favorite pair of lounge pants too. They allow for a wide range of motion, as you would expect from a premium performance legging, and they also feature a zip and stash pocket to keep your essentials nearby.
